Terms of use
Last updated 5 September 2026
These terms apply to the TapRev app for iPhone (“the app”), published by Yazeed Al Oyoun (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.
1. The licence
The app is licensed, not sold, to you under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement as well as these terms. Where the two differ, these terms apply to the extent Apple’s agreement allows. You may use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own business.
2. What the app does
The app reads revenue data from third-party payment platforms using API keys you provide, stores that data on your device, calculates metrics from it, and sends you local notifications. The app has no server. It does not process payments, move money, or change anything on any platform.
3. Your API keys and the platforms
- You are responsible for the keys you paste in: that you are allowed to use them, that they carry only the permissions the app needs, and for revoking them when you stop using the app.
- Each platform’s own terms govern your use of its API. TapRev is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by Stripe, Paddle, Lemon Squeezy, Polar, Gumroad, FastSpring, Dodo Payments, RevenueCat or Adapty.
- A platform may change or withdraw its API at any time. We’ll do our best to keep up, but we can’t promise that every platform stays supported.
4. TapRev Pro and the free trial
- After the first day (24 hours from when you first open the dashboard) the dashboard and transaction history require a Pro subscription: $6.99 a month or $49.99 a year in US dollars, with local prices set by the App Store.
- New subscriptions begin with a 7-day free trial, offered once per Apple ID. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and your Apple ID is charged.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Manage or cancel them in your Apple ID settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
- Prices may change; you’ll be told before a change applies to you.
5. Figures are informational
MRR, ARR, churn and every other number in the app are calculated from what the platforms return and may differ from a platform’s own reports, your accounting, or your tax filings. The app is not accounting, tax, legal or investment advice. Don’t rely on it as your only record.
6. Acceptable use
Don’t use the app with keys or accounts you aren’t authorised to use, try to defeat the subscription, reverse-engineer the app beyond what the law allows, or use it in a way that breaks a platform’s terms.
7. No warranty
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, including that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its figures will be accurate.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for consumers under mandatory consumer-protection rules.
9. Ending things
You can stop using the app at any time; Settings → Delete All Data removes what it holds. We may end your licence if you break these terms. Sections 5 to 8 survive.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when. Material changes will be called out in the app or on this site before they take effect.
